I could cry. After arriving fashionably late to my son’s appointment for tongue tie assessment, I was greeted with smiling, kind, compassionate faces from the front office staff. They were so patient and understanding of my late arrival (a toddler and newborn are not for the faint of heart). The process for assessment was quick, informative and quite easy. My son was taken from the room for maybe two minutes while the lasting took place and he was returned to me safely and ready to eat! Dr. Robyn sat with us in the room as I fed him just to see how his latch was and to explain the stretching process. After all was said and done, we were told to take our time getting out of the room and to just finish feeding him. Dr. Robyn came back in the room to provide aftercare instructions and proceeded to carry my son’s car seat out for me. She carried my son’s car seat all the way to my car even after I insisted I was able to do it and that she had better things to do. I’m not sure you can possibly be more humble than that. I cannot say enough about what could have easily been the most stressful experience. I will be bringing my children back for sure!
